Kindergarten Spanish Immersion Teacher | Moravian Academy

Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Picture the moment: a five-year-old looks up at you, eyes wide, and says their first full sentence in Spanish, not because they were told to, but because they wanted to. That is the quiet magic you will create every single day as Moravian Academy’s next Spanish Immersion Kindergarten Teacher.
At our Historic Downtown Campus, you won’t just teach kindergarteners; you will build the world they wake up excited to enter. In a small classroom with a full-time collaborative teacher at your side, you’ll have the space and support to truly know each child: their wonder, their hesitations, their breakthroughs. Your classroom will be a joyful, exclusively Spanish-speaking community where curiosity is the curriculum and every child belongs.
This is not just a teaching position. It is a relationship. You will be the person families trust with their most precious person — the one who texts on Seesaw with a photo that makes a parent’s day, who kneels on the rug to meet a hesitant learner where they are, who designs lessons that feel like play and land like transformation. You’ll partner with English Kindergarten teachers, specialists, and learning support staff in a school that believes deeply in collaboration and in you.
We are looking for someone who brings fluency and heart in equal measure. You love little children — their humor, their enormous questions, their spectacular meltdowns and triumphant recoveries. You understand language acquisition not as a technical process but as a gift you are uniquely positioned to give.

Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or related field; Master’s preferred

A genuine love for early childhood — the whole, wonderfully unpredictable experience of it

Ready to be the teacher a child remembers forever? Send your resume, cover letter, and three references. Pennsylvania Act 153 clearances are required before hire.
