Who we are:We are an online provider of English language lessons based in Hong Kong. We connect teachers located anywhere in the world with students located in Hong Kong/China via interactive virtual classrooms.
What we offer:
A long-term, part-time position.
Flexible hours (you decide which days and how many hours you teach) and work location (at your own home or anywhere quiet)
We assign students to new teachers gradually, and it takes some time for a new teacher to build up her/his student base. This position is NOT suitable for teachers who are only looking for a short-term job.
Our students normally take lesson between:
5am - 9am EST (6am - 10 am EDT) during weekdays
7pm - 10pm EST (8pm - 11pm EDT) Fridays and Saturdays
5am -9am EST (6am - 10am EDT) Saturdays and Sundays
How it works:
Lessons typically last 45/60 minutes and are conducted via proprietary video conferencing software
You are committed to finish teaching all the classes that you have accepted to teach.
Lessons are mostly one on one
Most students take one to two lessons a week.
Payments are made monthly via PayPal
Whom we look for:
Someone who
has a master's degree in TESOL or related disciplines
is experienced in teaching K-3 ESL students
is passionate about teaching
is organised, efficient and effective
is patient and kind
has Internet upload speed of at least 1Mps (DSL, Cable, Fiber Optic)
has high quality webcam, headset and a functional computer
