Lewis University invites applications for adjunct instructors to teach French, Russian, Japanese, Polish & German language courses at the undergraduate level. The instructors will teach one or more courses, hold office hours, meet with other faculty, department chairs or directors as needed, and serve as a model of professionalism and act as a resource for students within the teaching-learning environment.
Master’s degree in language being taught. MA in such areas as ESL, EFL, Foreign Language Acquisition and Education, Linguistics, and Education combined with teaching experience and high level of proficiency in these languages is considered. Ph.D. in language being taught or related field, preferred.
