Advancia Technologies, LLC is in a partnership with Alpha-Omega Change Engineering, Inc. (AOCE) to fill multiple positions for an English Language Training (ELT) contract to support the Technical Studies Institute (TSI) facility at King Abdulaziz Air Base (KAAB), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia (SA). This program is designed to provide basic ELT instruction to members of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) as they prepare for additional English instruction and follow-on training in the United States in their assigned specialties. These positions are contingent upon award of contract.
Successful candidates for the role of ELT Instructor must demonstrate advanced proficiency in teaching students to communicate both verbally and in written English. Implementing a weekly schedule (based on five days per week), the instructors will provide students with a total ELT immersion in the American English language.
The minimum tour of duty for ELT instructors shall be 12-months, or termination of the position/contract, whichever occurs first. Strong potential for additional contract renewal in 12-month increments. Anticipated start date is between late summer and early fall 2018.

Command over the American English Language. Contract instructors must be able to communicate with and instruct international military students (IMS) in English language articulations, fluency, and pitch/quality of sound that will communicate course requirements, objectives, theory and content.
Academic requirements will include ONE of the following as a minimum:
A four (4)-year degree that included or was supplemented by a major study in English as a Second Language (ESL), English as a Foreign Language (EFL), Linguistics, Foreign Languages, or Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Contractor shall submit official copies of transcripts which contain the university’s official seal.
A combination of education and experience with courses equivalent to a major in English as a Second Language (ESL), English as a Foreign Language (EFL), Linguistics, Foreign Languages, or Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL); plus appropriate experience or additional course work that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the four-year course of study described above.
In addition to the academic requirements above, the candidates must have ONE of the following:
At least one year of specialized experience in English language or foreign language instruction. Specialized experience includes:
Providing instruction to a diverse student body using the principles, practices and techniques of ESL/EFL.
Teaching ESL/EFL to adults from basic elementary to advanced English;
Planning, preparing and coordinating instructional activities for adult students;
Creating and managing student assessment techniques and objectives to include test and measurement principles;
Assisting in the development and improvement of curriculum design, training materials, instructional delivery, and student administration;
Preparing lesson plans by selecting and adapting instructor texts and guides, or developing a plan of instruction for class-specific exercises.
Completed three (3) full academic years of progressively higher level graduate education OR a Master’s Degree, Ph.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in one of following disciplines: (ESL); (EFL), Linguistics, Foreign Languages, or Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Contractor shall submit official copies of transcripts that contain the university’s official seal.
TESOL Certification from a resident program, including Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) , Trinity TESOL or (Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults (DELTA)
Experience with teaching in the Middle East region
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated work experience in academic administrative roles
