To enhance English language proficiency of students enrolled in EIBFS academic and training programs
Accountable to: Head of English Language Centre
Responsible for: Being in charge of the overall teaching aspects of the English language programs including planning, organizing, designing and developing courses in house and for training department.
Carry out teaching load as per allocation.
Effectively implement Academic Policies and work towards achieving the vision of EIBFS.
To carryout academic/administrative tasks as and when assigned by General Manager/Head of English Language Centre within the framework of academic responsibilities.
Preparing lectures, tutorial, class exercises, quizzes, tests, etc., aimed towards achieving learning outcomes.
To plan, develop and administer teaching methodology related pedagogy and evaluation for effective achievement of learning outcomes.
Monitor, assess, record, and disseminate students’ performance periodically.
Counsel/ advise the students to achieve higher degree of academic excellence in coordination with head of English language center and head of academics
Building up public relations, maintaining functional relationships with other departments.
Effectively participate in academic committee activities to achieve objectives of committee
To submit all grades within the deadlines.
To promptly evaluate and grade students work and provide them appropriate feedback.
Training Department Responsibility
Create and maintain a positive and professional learning environment.
Able to deliver, project and motivate trainees through effective training methodologies both in group and individual classroom dynamics
Manage the design, delivery and continuous improvement of training programs as well as ongoing learning opportunities across the organization, in support of the organization’s needs.
Utilize a variety of the training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs
Conduct specific training needs assessments to support the design, development and delivery of corporate training programs and strategies
Monitor and measure effectiveness of all training programs
Create high quality deliverables within project budget and policy deadlines.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
Education requirement and experience
Preferred master’s degree in ELT or any other relevant discipline (Celta, Delta)
3 to 5 years of relevant teaching experience in a higher education institution to non- native speakers
Proven track record in academics & research
A high degree of computer literacy and demonstrated ability to integrate technology into the learning environment and teaching methodology.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated competency to interact with people at all levels of the organization.
High level of English proficiency
