Visiting Composition Instructor, English as a Second Language

The University of Toledo’s Department of English invites applications for two instructional positions in the English-as-a-Second Language Composition Program, beginning Fall 2018. The position is a one-year non-tenure-track visiting appointment, renewable up to three years, contingent upon satisfactory performance and instructional need. The visiting assistant professor will teach courses in ESL writing in the English Department, as well as native-speaker composition as needed.

Required: MA or PhD in TESOL, Rhetoric/Composition, or English, and experience teaching ESL writing at the first-year composition level. Ability to teach introductory linguistics courses is a plus.
