The Learning English for Academic Purposes (LEAP) Director is responsible for ensuring the financial success of the LEAP Program. The director supervises the LEAP faculty and staff and oversees all administrative duties related to program management, assessment, advising, recruiting, and student retention. The director is responsible for engaging with the university community to enhance the role of the LEAP program. The director may teach courses when appropriate.

Experience working with University level Intensive English Programs. Demonstrated success in recruiting students into Intensive English Programs or other academic programs. TESOL Certification. Intercultural knowledge and sensitivity. Evidence of building innovative programs in an educational environment. Evidence of successful management of teaching personnel. Ability to speak a second language.
