Visiting Composition Instructor, English as a Second Language. The University of Toledo Department of English invites applications for a one-semester full-time instructional position in the Composition program, beginning March 2018.
The instructor will teach ESL composition courses for UT students enrolled at Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics (ZUFE) in Hangzhou, China during the (Chinese) spring semester. Spring semester varies in China depending on the dates of the Chinese New Year – approximately early March until mid-July. Travel, meals, and accommodations while in China will be provided, as well as VISA expenses. Workload : in the range of 12 credit hours for the Spring 2018 semester. Required: MA in TESOL or MA in English with TESOL endorsement. Strongly preferred: experience teaching ESL composition at the university level.
