Teach part-time in the Fall 2017 (start in October) and/or Spring 2018 (January start dates) semesters in the ELI’s intensive, semi-intensive or specialized programs. The ELI offers classes seven days a week on a variety of schedules at various locations around Westchester County. Most courses meet for 12 to 13 weeks on one of the following schedules:
Monday and Wednesday evenings 6:30 - 9:30 pm
Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6:30 - 9:30 pm
Saturdays 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
Sundays 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
Monday and Thursday mornings 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Tuesday and Friday mornings 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Wednesday mornings 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
* Note: Adjunct faculty can be assigned up to a maximum of 150 hours in a semester.

General Requirements: Faculty are required to have an MATESOL degree and a minimum of one-year ESL/EFL teaching experience. In some cases, candidates are considered for hire based on the strength of either training or teaching experience.
