Waikato Pathways College offers a range of English language programmes for New Zealand and international students. We seek a Programme Leader (Advanced Teacher) for our English language programmes to join the College management team to lead, develop and manage curriculum, teaching, staff, and the implementation of new initiatives.
You will oversee the delivery of English language programmes, drawing on your proven experience in leading, supporting and energising teams to provide purposeful direction to staff. You will have extensive experience in the development of assessment and evaluation resources, a comprehensive understanding of EAL and EAP teaching and assessment and excellent skills in building and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders, including international clients. Responsible for programme administration and reporting, you will have high level organisational skills, be able to work independently and demonstrate initiative and flexibility.
Significant knowledge of English language teaching principles and relevant experience in the tertiary education sector is essential as well as a high level of digital literacy and oral and written communication skills. A post-graduate qualification in a related field with demonstrated post-qualification experience in curriculum development and implementation and successful staff leadership experience is essential.
Salary will be in the range of $79,000 to $90,650 per year depending on qualifications, skills and experience.
